Case study
Eastwoodhill Arboretum
Website, SEO, memberships, events and systems for New Zealand's national arboretum.
The problem
A much-loved attraction with a lot going on (members, visitors, events, accommodation, donations) spread across too many systems, with no clear view of the numbers. Hundreds of Google reviews had no replies, and the website wasn't pulling its weight in search.
What I built
An SEO strategy covering 876 keywords across 8 content pillars and 92 content pieces, with a 159-URL redirect map so no existing traffic was lost, plus a full website rebuild (in progress). A health and safety sign-in app for visitors, contractors and staff, which also captures visitor numbers. A membership database with live reporting, which they never had before. Event funnels and ticket strategy that sold out events. Membership and donation drives. A review management strategy for 500+ unanswered reviews, and an optimised Google Business Profile. AI built into day-to-day work where it saves time. A booking system for accommodation and group tours (in progress). I've also flown to Gisborne to work with the team on site.
How it works now
Members, visitors, events and marketing run from one system, the team can finally see their numbers, and the website is built to be found.
What we did
The scope, plain and simple.
